My Love & Passion for Writing

I recall at the age of seven writing in my second grade journal with the wide-spaced lines that filled only half the page, an entry that was 22 pages long. My teacher Mrs. Pennyway had to tell me to stop writing because I was filling nearly the whole Journal (Booklet) and that was when I remember my earliest love for writing at that young age of seven.

My love for writing continued throughout my Elementary and Secondary school years especially when we had journals in our classes or a writing assignment but then during my teenage years I started keeping a journal at home. The journalling at home was to cope with my mental health and the mounting pressures of school and my declining mental and physical health.

I continued to keep a written journal but expressed my writing professionally through emails and letters as I wanted to present myself professional with my words but after an attempt to unlife myself at the age of 20 my years of journalling and writing to my psychiatrist while admitted in the hospital for treatment, I finally got the help and proper diagnoses.

I express myself verbally with more of a challenge but perhaps that is also because I am Hearing Impairs but I compose myself much better through the written word and thus led for the proper Mental Health diagnoses’, and to get proper treatment after years of struggling as so many wanted my voice when I am stronger and more honest through my written words.

I attempted to start a blog back in 2022 but it was limited to one topic and my life is a variety like us all! So I wanted to return to the blogging world and start fresh in 2025 and give it another chance and talk about all areas of my life.

Thank you for reading and welcome!
